Acceptable Use Policy
Guidelines for responsible use of our AI content generation platform.
Effective Date: April 15, 2026 · Last Updated: April 15, 2026
01 Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules governing how you may use Klonr and its AI content generation capabilities. This AUP supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. All users must comply with this AUP at all times.
Our Platform creates AI-generated content including virtual personas, images, and videos. Because this technology can be misused, we maintain strict guidelines to protect individuals, communities, and the integrity of our platform.
02 General Conduct Rules
When using the Platform, you must:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these policies.
- Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of all individuals.
- Act honestly and transparently in all interactions.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party platform terms.
- Report any bugs, security vulnerabilities, or policy violations you discover.
03 Content Standards
All content generated through or uploaded to the Platform must adhere to the following standards. Content must NOT:
- Depict, promote, or glorify violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Contain hate speech or promote discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
- Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or defame any individual or group.
- Constitute or facilitate fraud, phishing, scams, or social engineering.
- Contain or promote illegal substances, illegal weapons, or illegal activities.
- Spread disinformation, fake news, or deceptive content intended to mislead the public.
- Manipulate elections, political processes, or public opinion through deceptive means.
- Infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
- Violate the privacy or publicity rights of any individual.
04 Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following violations result in immediate, permanent account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any attempt to generate, upload, store, or distribute content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This includes content depicting minors in sexual scenarios, suggestive poses, or states of undress. All instances will be reported to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
- Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII): Creating sexual or intimate deepfake content of real, identifiable individuals without their documented, explicit consent.
- Identity Theft & Impersonation: Creating AI personas designed to impersonate specific real individuals for the purpose of fraud, scams, harassment, or reputational harm.
- Terrorism & Extremism: Content that recruits for, promotes, or provides material support to terrorist organizations or extremist ideologies.
- Human Trafficking & Exploitation: Content that facilitates or promotes human trafficking, forced labor, or sexual exploitation.
05 Identity & Likeness Rules
5.1 Using Your Own Likeness
You may use your own likeness (photos, selfies) as input for AI generation. By doing so, you acknowledge that AI outputs may not perfectly replicate your appearance and that you assume full responsibility for how you use and distribute the generated content.
5.2 Using Another Person's Likeness
If you wish to use another person's likeness as input for AI generation, you must:
- Obtain their explicit, informed, written consent before uploading their image.
- Clearly explain to them how their likeness will be used, including that it will be processed by AI systems.
- Retain documentation of their consent and produce it upon our request.
- Respect their right to withdraw consent at any time, at which point you must cease use and delete all content featuring their likeness.
5.3 AI-Generated Personas
When creating entirely AI-generated personas (characters not based on any real person), you must:
- Not intentionally create a character that closely resembles a specific real person, especially a public figure or celebrity.
- If a generated character inadvertently resembles a real person, regenerate the content or modify it sufficiently to avoid confusion.
- Not use AI personas to deceive people into believing they are interacting with a real person in contexts where such deception could cause harm (e.g., romantic relationships, financial advice, medical advice).
Disclosure Recommendation: We strongly recommend that you disclose on your social media profiles and/or in your content that your persona is AI-generated. While not legally required in all jurisdictions, transparency builds trust and protects you from potential legal issues.
06 Adult & Mature Content
6.1 General Policy
Content generation output may vary by AI provider. Some providers may produce mature content while others will not. Klonr does not specifically enable or restrict NSFW content — the availability depends on the underlying AI model used. Regardless of output, the following rules always apply:
- All generated content must depict AI-generated characters who are clearly adults (appearing 18 years of age or older). Attempts to generate youthful-appearing characters in adult content will be treated as CSAM.
- Non-consensual themes (depicting rape, sexual assault, or coercion) are strictly prohibited, even in fictional contexts.
- Content featuring real people in sexual scenarios without their explicit, documented consent is prohibited (see NCII policy).
6.2 Platform Distribution
When distributing any content on third-party platforms, you must:
- Comply with that platform's specific policies regarding adult content, age-gating, and content labeling.
- Ensure appropriate age restrictions and content warnings are in place.
- Not distribute adult AI-generated content on platforms that prohibit such content.
- Take full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable obscenity laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your audience.
08 Commercial Use Guidelines
You may use AI-generated content for commercial purposes (monetization, brand partnerships, merchandise, etc.) provided that:
- You comply with all applicable advertising disclosure laws (e.g., FTC guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials).
- If monetizing AI influencer accounts, you disclose the AI-generated nature of the content as required by applicable law and platform policies.
- You do not make false or misleading claims about products or services using AI personas.
- You comply with all applicable tax and business licensing requirements in your jurisdiction.
- You understand that the intellectual property status of AI-generated content is legally uncertain and varies by jurisdiction.
09 Technical Abuse
The following technical activities are prohibited:
- Attempting to bypass content moderation, safety filters, or generation restrictions.
- Overloading, flooding, or spamming the Platform or its APIs.
- Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to access the Platform without authorization.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Platform.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors in the Platform instead of reporting them.
- Sharing, selling, or distributing API keys or account credentials.
- Using the Platform to benchmark or develop competing products.

07 Social Media Distribution
