No. You pay a flat monthly fee based on your tier (Free, Starter, Pro, Agency, Enterprise). Each tier includes a generous monthly message allowance. If you hit your limit, you can either upgrade manually, enable auto-upgrade (with explicit consent), or wait until next month's reset.
By default, your AI characters pause replying until your next billing cycle starts. You can manually upgrade in seconds. Or enable auto-upgrade — when you opt in (with explicit consent), we automatically upgrade you to the next tier and charge a prorated amount so your bot keeps running uninterrupted. Auto-upgrade has a hard cap at Agency tier and a 7-day cooldown.

Klonr Chat uses Claude (by Anthropic), currently considered best-in-class for character consistency and emotional reasoning. We have multi-provider abstraction so we can swap or fall back to other providers (GPT, Gemini) if needed for redundancy or cost optimization.
Klonr Chat is a separate product from Klonr's image/video generation platform. You can subscribe to one, both, or neither. Billing is fully independent — changes to your chat plan never affect your image generation plan or credits.
Yes. Pro and above include conversation export. All character configurations, fan data, and conversation history are portable. We don't lock your data in.
Subscriptions are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep full access until then. Prorated refunds for billing errors are handled case-by-case via support.
