DMCA / Copyright Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how to report copyright infringement on Klonr Chat and our process for responding. It applies to content uploaded by Klonr Chat customers to private features of the Service, primarily the Content Vault.

Klonr Chat is a private internal tool for operators; it does not host public content, social posts, or fan-facing pages. Most copyright issues that would arise on consumer platforms do not apply here.

2. Filing a copyright takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe that content stored on Klonr Chat infringes your copyright, send a written notice to:

Your notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works at a single online site, a representative list)
2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material with reasonable detail to permit us to locate it (e.g. account email, file name, character ID)
3. Your contact information (full name, address, telephone number, email)
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf
6. A physical or electronic signature

3. Our response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will:

• Acknowledge receipt within 5 business days
• Investigate the claim
• If the claim is substantiated, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
• Notify the user who uploaded the material, providing them a copy of the notice and an opportunity to file a counter-notice
• Take action against repeat infringers as required by law (including account termination)

4. Counter-notice (for users whose content was taken down)

If you believe content of yours was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice to klonraihelp@gmail.com (subject line: "DMCA Counter-Notice") containing:

1. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error
3. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court (US) or English courts (UK)
4. Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.

5. Repeat infringers

We will terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

6. Misuse of takedown procedure

Filing a knowingly false DMCA notice or counter-notice is a federal crime in the US (18 U.S.C. § 1001) and may give rise to civil liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Do not abuse this process.

7. AI-generated output and copyright

Output generated by AI character chat is text. Such output is not deliberately copied from any specific copyrighted work. If you believe AI output specifically reproduces your copyrighted text in a substantial way, please report under the same notice procedure above with examples.
